Hello Wayfarers!
Thanks to your support, we surpassed 55k, so let's say hello to the new Bard archetype: The Charlatan. We're one step closer to our next stretch goals, New Feats at 65k and the Ranger Archetype: Child of the Stars at 75k!
Sneak Peek: The Irradiant Sphere & Sorcerer Subclass The second of our sneak peeks from the first book, Guide to the Vales, is up next! Today we're focusing on The Irradiant Sphere and the subclass that has been changed by it's energies: the Heralds of the Sphere. So grab your sunglasses and some SPF 50 as we get as close (as we safely can!).
SPF 50 may not be enough, now that we think of it...
The Irradiant Sphere - Sister of the Sun Located north of the Darafa Steppes in the Vaskor mountains, the massive sphere can be found embedded in the land. With a radius of nearly 4 miles, its intense energies and bright light can be seen by travellers of the Steppes, Faskat and Sibyr, even at night! This light and energies are so strong, that with the exception of Liskaya in Vaskor, the entire region around the sphere is mostly uninhabited due to how it warps the lands and creatures nearby.
Subtly modifying everywhere its light touches, its influence is the entire reason that Manifestations exist in the Vales at all. Further away from the Sphere are The Low Light regions where most of the Vales populace resides, but it is the surrounding region, The Direct Light, where reality twists and warps. Rivers rise from their beds. Animals as tall as giants move in hulking herds. And for those that venture too close, they come back changed. If they come back at all.
Certainly, it must have been possible to get close to the Irradiant Sphere once, given the legends, but of all of the most recent expeditions sent into The Direct Light to evaluate the Sphere, none have returned. Some, like the doctors of Ongarat, even promote travel to the Sphere in order for the suffering to be born anew. Perhaps the doctors are right and the legends true, for there are the rare few who have returned, changed and 'born anew.' These are the Heralds of the Radiant Sphere, a sorcerer subclass for those that ventured too close, and saw... something else.
While their eyes have been burnt away by what they saw, this sample won't do the same! Click here in order to download a peek into the Herald of the Radiant Sphere archetype.
That's it for today Wayfarers!

Salutations Arpenteurs !
45k Reached, New Boons Cards, Sneak Peek and more!

Let's go Wayfarers!
We've reached our 45k stretch goal which means 10 more Small Boons are being added to the Small Boons deck. Next up is our Bard Subclass - The Charlatan at 55k. We know we can hit that and then some. So what's beyond 55k?
Next Stretch Goals We want to make sure that your voices are heard regarding the content you want to see added into Favorable Skies. So we're unveiling the next stretch goals below: 65k - New Feats. Shimmering skin, a dreamlike companion, and more. Expanding further into the themes of the Vales we'll add mysterious new feats. 75k - Child of the Stars. New Ranger archetype. Your animal companion changes with the stars, taking the form of the constellations you wished upon as a child.
Sneak Peek - The Region of Peronia Today's sneak peek is a spotlight on the beautiful region of Peronia from our new book, Favorable Skies. One of three regions that make up the Alliance of Salvania, Peronia's majesty stems from original kingdom that held power here, the Empire of Six Stars. Heavily influenced by this vanished empire, the architecture of Peronia blends imperial science with modern-day usage and the study and artistry of that architecture drives Peronian lives. Here, you can find the most renowned schools of Architecture, each working to further their knowledge of imperial science while effortlessly melding with the regions avid fascination with the stars and divination.
Contrary to popular belief, it is not enough to chart and understand the position of the stars in the heavens, your own individual position is equally as important. The reward that an ideal astrological alignment can grant inspires a fervor with the inhabitants and, to an even greater extent, religious organizations. Their places of worship cannot be locked in place, but are capable of twisting, rising, and even shifting to a more exceptional position. Locals would not think twice at coming face to face with hundreds of oxen moving a temple down a main avenue. Indeed, homes shift throughout the day, beholden to a delicate weight balance, while others spin to constantly catch the sun.
It's not all thrilling architecture that Peronia is known for, but Yellow. The brilliant yellow sands the surround the region are due to the color escaping from a tear within the Great Tapestry itself. Pouring from the sky like a waterfall, the yellow in the region only exists due to the endless cascade here. Cloth, objects, and more are dyed under it's steady pour.
What other sights can be seen in Peronia? We'll visit the city of Leannaros next!

We've been awarded a Project We Love from Kickstarter! Evening Wayfarers!
As we enter into the final two weeks of the campaign, we've been working hard behind the scenes on new artwork and the 2nd edition proofing of Guide to the Vales. Let us tell you, we were thrilled to see the 'Project We Love' award from Kickstarter.
Yet, we couldn't do this without all of you as our backers. You are what are dreams are made of. So thank you for your trust in us and let's shoot even higher.
Update Kickstarter Page and New Reward Tiers! We've taken your comments and questions and updated our Story page here on Kickstarter. These updates include additional artwork and a text-only version for screen-reader accessibility.
Our two newest rewards tiers, Traveler - Guide to the Vales and Journeyer - Guide to the Vales, allow for backers to pledge just for Guide to the Vales in PDF or Hardcover.
What Dreams Are Made Of Speaking of dreams... today is the first in our series of deep dives and sneak peeks! Backers from our previous Kickstarter, Exalted Vales, will already be well acquainted with this Manifestation, but for our new backers, we'd like to introduce you to the Dream Weavers of Drath.
Like with other Manifestations within the Vales, the Dream Weavers exert their particular form of mystical influence upon the inhabitants and region they preside over. Here, in the regions of Verin, Antia, and Nerkit, dreams aren't taken for granted as inhabitants (and visitors!) simply cannot dream on their own. In the city of Drath, you'll find the Dream Weavers gigantic temple, along with their disciples, priests, and pilgrims. With a bit of coin, can be well on your way to cozy dreaming.
True to their namesake, the Dream Weavers listen to the tales recounted from pilgrims and weave them into small squares of cloth which, when consumed, provide your dreams for the night. Even though there are never quite enough stories provided, and priests are sent to collect more, no one voluntarily deprives themselves of dreams. The malaise caused by an absence of dreaming is far to dangerous, so expect suspician if you even suggest the idea!
Things are made far easier when you have a weaver in your party. Our wizard subclass from Guide to the Exalted Vales grants access to True Dreams, extraordinary visions that bestow proficiencies, fighting styles, or even temporary feats, when you wake from your long rest.
Sweet Dreams!
We can tell you what's definitely NOT a dream: The Infernal Tome!
The team at Belazan Games are back with their new 5e guide for running hellish campaigns and infernal adventures, The Infernal Tome. And at nearly 300 pages this supplement truly is a tome! More than a guidebook, it's an all-access pass for players and GMs alike that is sure to elevate your games as you dive deeper into the Hells.
- GM tips for creating adventures and running campaigns - A wealth of game mechanics like Corruption and Damanation, Soul Exchange, and - Infernal Contracts and more - Blistering new character options including races, classes, subclasses, feats, spells, and backgrounds! - and, a complete demonic beastiary
Stretch goals, cards and charlatans!

New stretch goals
We reached 35K CAD ! Time for new stretch goals! We start with even more boons. And yes, we mean more physical cards for the same price. We're soon reaching 140 cards. And speaking of card amount, let's consider: If you play a very optimistic 1 game per week, 50 weeks a year, and you give 2 boons each session, after one year you used 100 boons - and you still have enough for another half year without re-using any boon. In other words, unless your players have elephant memory, the deck can be your loyal companion for a very long time. Then comes the snake oil salesman! Our very own take on the bard. A sharp tongue, a knack for captivating speeches. The charlatan is an expert in representation, but a very special kind of representation: selling valueless or fraudulent cures, remedies and potions.
Guide to the Vales as a pledge tier
We noticed a little mistake in our pledge tiers. It was not possible to order just the first book of the series "Guide to the Vales". We added a new pledge tier. So if you are only interested in Guide to the Vales in physical, you now can order it without needing to take any other physical item.
Nouveaux objectifs Nous avons atteint 35K CAD !
